Do you continually place yourself in situations in which you know you need to change so that you can postpone taking action? If so, identify those situations—particularly those in relation to your food and all health issues– and your reasons for not wanting to act.

How can you let go of old stories and shift the way you think?  Emotional patterns can become a biochemical process, but you can form new pathways to begin liberating yourself from past conditioning.  With repeated experience, you form associations.  You can learn new ways to respond to the same situation.  It’s a lot of work to change, but a lot of work to stay this way.

  1. Letting go of the old video is the hardest part for me so one my tricks is to change the scenery which in turn makes me more aware and I don’t go into automatic mode of stuffing my face in an unconcious manner. I get up and walk around -either at home or at work and break the pattern.
Another trick is to keep my hands busy by rolling pennies, or putting papers in order-anything to change to conditioning.
