The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is encouraging everyone to “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day” this National Nutrition Month. Choosing this theme is intended to bring light to the fact that you can incorporate your favorite foods into your meal plan. This will help to change the categorizing of “bad” or “good” foods, or foods that are “forbidden”. Every day the Academy has a tip available for free throughout the month at eatright.org.
Take this theme and apply it to your own life. Think about ways that you can incorporate some of your favorite or fear foods into your meal plan so that you are not eating a restrictive diet.
